Piku

Privacy Policy

This notice covers Piku Browser and the pikubrowser.com website. Updated 22 September 2026.

Who is responsible

pikubrowser.com is operated by TARIK SUCU. Address: Maslak 1453, C8 Blok No 113, Sarıyer, İstanbul, Türkiye. Contact: [email protected]. pikubrowser.com is a service name, not a separate legal company.

Browsing contributions have been removed

Piku Live visit counting, browsing contributions, search diagnostics and public popularity rankings have been discontinued. The current browser does not send your browsing history, visited URLs, search URLs or search terms to pikubrowser.com for these purposes. It does not create a Live installation identity or submit phone-brand, operating-system or device-attestation profiles to pikubrowser.com.

The retired collection and ranking endpoints no longer accept or publish data, including requests from older app versions. The updated app cancels old upload work and removes its local contribution queue, Live credentials and ranking cache. Your ordinary local browsing history, bookmarks and homepage shortcuts are preserved. Update the app to receive this local cleanup.

At retirement, the server contained no participant, visit-contribution or search-diagnostic records. The retired source-code archive does not contain a copy of user browsing data or server secrets. There is no browsing-data sale or licensing programme.

Information stored on your device

Normal browsing can store history, bookmarks and folders, open tabs, homepage shortcuts, site permissions, cookies, downloads and preferences on your device. These support browser functions rather than a pikubrowser.com browsing profile. You can remove relevant categories using browser settings and clearing controls. Files exported or downloaded to shared storage may need to be deleted separately.

Private browsing uses a separate local profile and is not a guarantee of anonymity from websites, your network or Android. Files you deliberately download, export or share can remain outside that profile. Password and passkey operations are handled by the Android provider you choose; Piku does not operate a password vault.

Requests necessary for browser features

The websites you open receive your network requests and apply their own policies. Searches go to your selected search engine. If online search suggestions are enabled, text you type is sent to the selected suggestion provider; the default suggestion provider is DuckDuckGo. You can disable suggestions in settings. This is separate from the removed pikubrowser.com diagnostics.

Protection-list updates contact their list sources. Translation uses on-device models; downloading a model requires a connection to the model provider. Other requested downloads, favicons and linked content contact the relevant host. A browser must make these connections to provide those features; removing Live does not make all browsing offline.

When you choose Search image with Google Lens, the selected image URL is sent to Google to open its visual search service. Piku does not send page cookies, account credentials or the surrounding page contents for this action. Full-page screenshots are created on your device and saved as files; they are not uploaded to pikubrowser.com. Sharing a screenshot sends it only to the destination you choose.

Website delivery and support

Cloudflare provides website delivery, tunnel and security services. Connection information, including IP addresses and HTTP headers, is processed to deliver and protect requests. Our static website does not maintain a visit-contribution database and does not write application request/access logs or request bodies. This does not mean Cloudflare or network infrastructure never processes connection data.

The website does not contain an advertising network, analytics script or tracking pixel. It stores an interface-language preference only when you choose a language. A small local cleanup removes obsolete Live ranking and hidden-source caches; it sends no stored data to us.

If you email us, we receive the address, message and any attachments you send. Our mail infrastructure processes delivery and spam-security information. Please do not send passwords, browsing exports or sensitive documents unless needed for an agreed support request.

Purposes, legal grounds and retention

We process support correspondence to answer your request, manage the requested service and address legal obligations. Depending on the activity and applicable law, the grounds are performance of a requested contract, legal obligations or legitimate interests in responding to communications and maintaining security (including GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c) or (f), where applicable, and the relevant conditions under KVKK Article 5). These grounds do not authorise a new optional browsing-collection programme.

Local browser records stay on your device until removed by the relevant browser control, storage policy or you. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations or claims, and review it for deletion when those purposes end. We do not promise that the website can remotely erase files saved on your device. Provider-managed security records are subject to the provider’s applicable retention arrangements.

Recipients and international processing

Authorised operators and necessary hosting, mail and security providers process information for delivery, support and security. Cloudflare may process connection information internationally. Websites, search engines and Android credential providers you use are independent recipients of requests to their own services.

International processing is subject to applicable transfer requirements, including KVKK and, where applicable, GDPR Chapter V. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to a request. Using this website is not consent to unrestricted international sharing or to a future browsing-data collection feature.

Your rights and changes

Contact [email protected] or the postal address above to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or exercise applicable restriction, objection and portability rights. Under KVKK you may ask whether data are processed, their purpose and recipients, request correction or erasure and notification of recipients, and object to an adverse outcome based exclusively on automated analysis. You may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

We may request proportionate information to verify a request. We respond within applicable deadlines, normally one month under GDPR and at most 30 days for KVKK requests, subject to permitted exceptions. Do not send private keys or authentication tokens.

A future contribution feature would require a new implementation, updated disclosures and any consent required before collection begins. Old Live consent will not reactivate it. We publish material changes here.
